A personal approach to sophisticated legal matters.

Jeannine Nicole Rodriguez, Esq. — founder and managing attorney

A Personal Note from Jeannine

I’m Jeannine Nicole Rodriguez, the owner and founder of JNR Law Group, and an attorney who believes the law should make sense to the people living with its consequences. My practice is based in Miami, Florida, where I balance life as a lawyer and a mother—two roles that constantly remind me that real people, not case numbers, are at the center of every legal matter.

My work focuses on real estate, criminal defense, estate planning, and civil litigation. Some days, I’m helping a family buy or sell a home, walking them through closing documents in plain language so they feel confident about what they’re signing. On others, I’m representing someone in state or federal court during one of the hardest moments of their life. I also work with clients to design thoughtful estate plans in place—structuring wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives that protects the people they love and reflects the way they actually live. I represent clients across Florida, and in federal matters I work with clients throughout the United States.

In every area of my practice, my goal is the same: to take what can feel like big, abstract “legalese” and translate it into clear, practical terms so you always understand your options and the real-world consequences of each decision. I maintain a litigation practice in state and federal courts while also overseeing the firm’s real estate transactional, title, and estate planning work, so clients have continuity across both their planning and their problem-solving.

Over the years, I’ve been honored to be recognized as a Lawyer of Distinction in Real Estate Law and as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in Criminal Defense, with selections every year through 2025. I work hard to stay current in these areas so I can give clients advice that is both accurate and realistic about what they’re facing.

At JNR Law Group, I want to be the person you call when life gets complicated—whether you’re planning for the future, buying a home, dealing with a dispute, or facing criminal charges. You’ll get honesty, plain talk, and an advocate who treats your case with the same seriousness and care she would want for her own family.

Founder & Managing Attorney

Jeannine Nicole Rodriguez is the founder and managing attorney of JNR Law Group, a boutique Miami practice she built in 2012 with a simple mission: to guide people through life’s most important legal moments with clarity, compassion, and unwavering advocacy.

A member of The Florida Bar since 2009, Ms. Rodriguez offers almost two decades of experience representing individuals, families, business owners, real estate professionals, and corporate clients throughout South Florida. Her work spans both litigation and transactional matters, giving her a uniquely balanced perspective on how to protect clients in the courtroom, at the closing table, and everywhere in between.

A Practice Built on Skill — and Heart

Ms. Rodriguez maintains a broad civil and criminal practice in both state and federal court, handling matters involving civil litigation, criminal defense, federal litigation, real estate litigation, real estate transactions, title and escrow services, estate planning, summary administration, and business formation.

As a litigator, she represents clients in contract disputes, real estate conflicts, business-related litigation, landlord-tenant matters, brokerage and transaction-related disputes, and criminal defense. She is known for her steady courtroom presence, thoughtful strategy, and ability to navigate complex disputes with both strength and empathy.

In her transactional practice, Ms. Rodriguez assists clients with real estate closings, title and escrow matters, deeds, contracts, corporate formation documents, operating agreements, revocable trusts, wills, durable powers of attorney, health care surrogate designations, and living wills. She takes time to explain every document and decision in plain language, ensuring clients feel informed, supported, and confident about their choices.

Her litigation background strengthens her transactional work. Whether drafting a contract, preparing an estate plan, or forming a business, she approaches each matter with an eye toward risk management, dispute prevention, and long-term protection.

A Legal Perspective Shaped by Real Life

Beyond her professional experience, Ms. Rodriguez brings a deeply personal understanding to her work. As a mother, business owner, and attorney, she knows that legal decisions often touch every part of a person’s life — their family, finances, property, and future. That awareness guides her approach: practical, honest, and always centered on the real people behind the legal issues.

Clients often describe her as the person they call when life becomes complicated — whether they are buying a home, planning their estate, forming a business, facing a dispute, or navigating criminal charges. She strives to be a steady, reassuring presence during moments that matter.

Real Estate Expertise, Inside and Out

Ms. Rodriguez is also a licensed Florida Realtor, active since 2019. Her real estate license gives her firsthand insight into brokerage practices, disclosure obligations, transaction-broker duties, listing issues, and the practical realities of Florida real estate.

Her combined experience as a litigator, real estate attorney, title professional, and Realtor allows her to evaluate transactions and disputes from both a legal and industry-based perspective. She has also been retained as an expert in matters involving Florida real estate transactions and the professional standards of care applicable to real estate brokers and transaction brokers.

In addition to her litigation and transactional practice, Ms. Rodriguez is frequently retained as an expert witness in Florida real estate matters. Her background as a litigator, real estate attorney, title professional, and licensed Realtor gives her a uniquely well-rounded perspective on brokerage practices, disclosure obligations, contract performance, and industry standards of care. She provides courts and litigants with clear, practical testimony that bridges legal analysis with the real-world realities of Florida real estate.
